Chad Taylor is now a five-time NHRA national event winner, including three in Bristol, after his close final-round win against Vaughn Cauffield in the Right Trailers Top Dragster completion in South Georgia. Taylor gave up a slight lead at the start but won with a 6.889 on a 6.85, while Cauffield was under his dial by .035-second.
